Yes, that was Russ Martin spinning Britney Spears tunes Thursday morning at Top 40 station "Wild 100.3" KRBV-FM (100.3).

Of course it was an April Fools' Day prank, and he was back on KLLI-FM (105.3) later Thursday doing his regular thing as Dallas-Fort Worth's No. 1-rated afternoon talk-radio host.

Mr. Martin had announced on the air Wednesday that he was leaving to take the morning slot at KRBV. His show that aired Thursday morning on KRBV was taped in advance.

Thursday afternoon, he played clips of some of the songs that were on KRBV that morning, including Ms. Spears' "Toxic" and Nick Cannon's "Gigolo."

"If we really went over there, there'd be no music – ever," he said.
